How to create a SAP BI MOBILE ScoreCard for IPAD

In following pages we will show ho to create several Scorecards in Web Intelligence ( on Business Objects XI 3.1 SP 4) in order to navigate them on IPAD trough SAP BI MOBILE.

As  first case let see how to create a Gradient Fill (GF ) Scorecard

in this scorecard progress bars will appear in different   colors depending only on the 4th column values (C_4) but the number must be expressed in % format.
Last columns ( from 5th to 16th) will appear in IPAD as linear microchart (SL=SparkLine)
  with gradient fill (GF).
It is very important to define block name following SAP guide syntax , in our  example: ;SC_GF_C_4;SL_GF_Sales_C_5_16.

Block structure must be defined as you can see in the following image:

This is the final result on IPAD:

 Others block  variants
The block name defined as ;SC_GF_C_5 even if with just one measure will be displayed however on
IPAD.

Trend traffic icon in a vertical table

Block name: ;SC_TT_C_4_R
will be displayed  on IPAD as in following image:

Geomap on Ipad

Geomaps display report data in a geo-localized manner. A geomap displays BI data for different
geographic locations on the world map. These locations are known as points of interest (POIs). Each
POI has a unique value of location (latitude, longitude) and name (such as city-name, state-name,
company-name or store-name).

When the user taps a POI, a pop-over appears displaying the measure value for the location, higher is the measure concerning a POI
bigger
will be the circle related.

When the user taps the arrow symbol in the pop-over, a report-part appears displaying data specific to
the POI.

In order to create Geomap report
s you must follow SAP indication about Block name syntax in our case it has been named: map_lt3_lo4_poi2_od5_imd6

Let see how this name is composed:
lt3 means that in 3rd column there is latitudine value,
lo4 means that in 4th column there is longitude value,
poi2 indicates that in 2nd column there is POI name,
imd6 contains POI images  if you choose to use  custom images otherwise you must use the syntax  imu (column number),
od5 means that in 5th columnc there is an OpenDo link, so if you  tap on iPad  on the POI indicator, it will opened an other report.
The mandatory string to use in block name is the following : map_lt3_lo4_poi2.

Follows  geomap report  based on Google maps:

If you tap on Opendoc link after 'Eur' in the black window it will open an other report, as you can see in the image below.

Follows  a different report containig sparklines.

How create a TREND ARROW Report

In this case the block name is  ;SC_TA_C_5_R
In the laste column there is the Trend Arrow  (TA) whose color depends on an alert setted on the value in the 5th column.
You will see the alert only if yoy setted them on report colums.
Folows an Example of Trend Arrow Report.
