Creating Dashboards with Xcelsius 2008       Xcelsius 2008 is a tool with an intuitive user interface used  for creating interactive dashboard  based on aggregated data sets. This tool can easily be used by business users, infact  no programming skills are necessary for creating Xcelsius dashboard.  That is possible because in  Xcelsius  data aggregation logic  and  creation of  objects (such as charts, tabs, gauges, sliders) is based on  Microsoft Excel functions and features.         Xcelsius 2008 uses the embedded Microsoft Excel spreadsheet        for three things at   design stage:   1.    row and column based staging area for  data aggregation. 2.    uses well knew Excel functions to provide additional logic. 3.    allow Excel formatting (for cell, colors, numbers).           The following image is shown Xcelsius canvass, the tool saves the dashboard project as an XLF file. CMC in Business Objects BI 4 - New features

In the latest version Business Objects BI 4, CMC console isn't changed so much, but there are very interesting  new features: The first  useful  new feature is AUDITING, which is now available and usable directly from BI 4 Central Management Console. The plus is that all can be managed from one point, unlike in the previous Business Objects version, you had to manage auditing parameters on each Server. Reporting on BEX Query in WEBI 4.0

USING OLAP IN INFORMATION DESIGN TOOL (SAP BI 4) Let see how to use Query Bex in Business Objects 4.0. How to create a BI MOBILE ScoreCard for IPAD

  ENVIROMENT: SAP BUSINESS OBJECTS XI 3.1 SP4 SAP  BUSINESS OBJECTS    MOBILE  APP version 4.2.5   How to create a SAP BI MOBILE ScoreCard for IPAD In following pages we will show ho to create several Scorecards in Web Intelligence ( on Business Objects XI 3.1 SP 4) in order to navigate them on IPAD trough SAP BI MOBILE. As  first case let see how to create a Gradient Fill (GF ) Scorecard  in this scorecard progress bars will appear in different   colors depending only on the 4th column values (C_4) but the number must be expressed in % format.
